About JD Cables
JD Cables was set up in 1994 to supply the UK market with special cables that are normally difficult to obtain. While this is still the company’s main objective, the increased demand for some standard flexibles has led to a comprehensive cross-section of manufactured cable.
A comprehensive stock held in Braintree, Essex, is supported by vast stocks from some of Europe's largest cable makers. Manufacturing to the customers' own specific requirements on relatively small quantities is an additional service that provides for the not so large user where minimum manufacturing quantities are normally a problem. We also hold specific stock for customers and supply on call-off to both Kan-Ban and MRP Purchasing systems.
We have NO minimum order charge and NO cutting charge. A 24 hour delivery service from Braintree stock is standard. We also offer 3 day delivery service from most of our European stocks.
Many cables are supplied with approvals including UL, CSA, Harmonisation, VDE, British Standard ETC.
Our range is supported by many other singles and multicores used in a wide variety of Industrial, Electrical and Electronic applications.
All cables are supplied by ISO approved manufacturers. Quality and batch traceability are the forefront of our company's policy requirements
